ATGS Call for Meeting Proposals
We are excited to announce the Call for Proposals for the annual Association of Texas Graduate Schools (ATGS) meeting, taking place from September 25 to September 26, 2025, at the Texas A&M University – San Antonio Campus in San Antonio, Texas. The theme for this year’s event is “Transform, Thrive, Transcend: Navigating the Future of Graduate Education.” We welcome submissions that highlight innovative concepts, emerging trends, and practical solutions in the field of graduate education.
Topics of Interest
We are particularly interested in programs that address the following topics:
1. Transform: Redefining Graduate Education
Leveraging Technology in Graduate Education: AI, virtual reality, and digital tools in teaching and research.
Innovative Curriculum Design: Preparing students for careers in and beyond academia.
Interdisciplinary Programs: Breaking silos and encouraging cross-disciplinary collaboration.
Shaping Graduate Programs for Emerging Industries: Building skillsets for tomorrow's workforce.

However, we encourage submissions on any topic that aligns with our meeting theme and goals.
Submission Guidelines
Title: Clear and concise.
Abstract: Maximum 300 words, summarizing the session's focus and objectives.
Learning Objectives: List 3-5 key takeaways for attendees.
Presenter Information: Include names, titles, affiliations, and contact information for all presenters.
Proposed Time Length: 60 minutes (45 minutes-presentation/15 minutes-Q&A)
Submission Process
· Submit your proposals through the online submission portal
· Submissions should be submitted in PDF format
All proposals will be reviewed by the Program Committee and selected presenters will be notified by August 1, 2025.

Submission Deadline: Monday, June 30, 2025
Notification of Acceptance: Friday, August 1, 2025
